How to get to VILLA ANAIS on Thassos?

From the airport or from the port, we are happy to assist with advising on and taking care of your transfer

By plane

The closest airport for Thassos is Kavala (also called Mega Alexandros). Especially in the summer, the airport can be reached from multiple airports across Europe.

At two hours from Kavala, you will find the major international airport of Thessaloniki. Several planes from across Europe arrive here daily.

From Thessaloniki, Kavala can be easy reached by car or by bus.

By ferry boat

Thassos Island has no airport. To get to Thassos, you should always make the crossing by ferry boat. You can make the crossing from the mainland from Kavala Town to Skala prinos and from Keramoti (closest to the airport) to Limenas (Thassos-town). Every day there are several ferries and a hydrofoil (only passengers on the hydrofoil).

On Thassos, there are two ports where ferries arrive and depart: Limenas (Thassos Town) and Skala Prinos. The port of Skala Prinos is within walking distance of the Hotel Villa Anais.

The accessibility: by ferry from Kavala City 1 hour and 20 minutes, by ferry from Keramoti 35 minutes. And the hydrofoil takes only 25 minutes to bring you from Kavala to Skala Prinos.

By car

Both ports from which the ferries depart, are located a short distance from the motorway E9. This highway is also known as the Egnatia Odos.

The E9 runs from Igoumenitsa in western Greece, via Thessaloniki, to Kipoli on the Turkish border. Many highways in Greece itself come on out here, but also from neighboring countries like Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey.

By bus

Coming from northern Greece and neighboring countries, Kavala is also easily accessible by bus.
